An iron alloy composed mainly of silicon, chromium, and iron. Also known as silicon chromium ferroalloy. It is mainly used as an intermediate alloy for the production of medium, low and micro-carbon iron by electrosilicothermal method. It is used as deoxidizer (instead of ferrosilicon) and chromium additive in steelmaking. Generally, it contains Cr>30%, Si>35 foiz , va muvozanat temir va oz miqdorda aralashmalardir. Tarkibida 30,0 foizdan kam bo‘lmagan xrom va kamida 35,0 foiz kremniy bo‘lgan temir, xrom va kremniy qotishmalari. Uni ishlab chiqarish jarayoni ikki turga bo'linadi: bir bosqichli usul (odatda "shlak usuli" yoki "ruda usuli" deb ataladi) va ikki bosqichli usul (odatda "shlaksiz usul" deb ataladi). Bir bosqichli eritishda ishlatiladigan xom ashyolarga kremniy oksidi, xrom rudasi va koks kiradi. Ikki bosqichli eritishda ishlatiladigan xom ashyo kremniy oksidi, uglerod ferroxrom va po'lat talaşlaridir. Ikkala eritish usuli ham qaytaruvchi vosita sifatida koksdan foydalanadi.
